Love Is All There Is
I believe that all of the emotions and judgments I have about myself and my life is a covering. Like muddy water, it clouds my way into my heart.
Yet as I choose to become the observer, I am able to connect with the feelings and allow the emotions to be felt and accepted. In this place I surrender to the moment and pray with sincerity, asking to understand what it is that wants to be expressed. In giving myself this loving attention, I form a reconnection back to my true self where the waters are still and clear.
When I unplug from everything I think I have to do and just be with myself, I give myself the chance to connect with a Higher Power that can show me the way to my heart. Here is where I feel my true nature, where happiness is always waiting for my return.
If I sit patiently, I can feel a shift in my body and my mind as I fill up with a peace that is beyond my thinking. As I stay connected, I am lifted up into a Higher Mind and I begin to be conscious of what is underneath the physical experience. What I uncover is the feeling of serenity that feels like Home. Here I can connect to everyone and my heart opens wide again. |

Writing down all of my feelings or just accepting them, I feel the power I have in choosing to be right here Now. In this moment I have moved inside to change my experience. Just realizing that it all happened on the inners fuels my inspiration and rekindles my desire to participate more fully with life.
As I was driving to Sarasota one day, I felt a throbbing pain in my neck and head. For the last few days, I had experienced the symptoms of a migraine headache, something that plagued me for years in the past. Back then, these physical symptoms of my body used to be such a focus that life would stand still and feel stagnant in my suffering. Now I could appreciate how much I have shifted as I trusted my body’s intelligence and the unveiling that the moment could bring me.
This connection inward is a result of living in my ordinary life with my heart wide open, embracing all of the aspects of my humanity with love.
In the course of this day, I connected with several friends, each working through their own challenges. Despite the pain we each are experiencing, I am so very conscious of the love that we share. I feel grateful for the gift of these authentic relationships and the inspiration that each has so generously provided me.
The evening hasn’t brought physical relief yet but I keep reaching inward to touch something greater. I sit in the parking lot of the I Am Healing Center and I listen to all the voices that tell me to cancel the evening meditation circle. All of a sudden, I begin to see the faces of the people who travel a long distance to come to our Circle of Light group on Wednesday evenings and I immediately feel a love that is so sweet. I connect to the beauty of each one who participates with me and I know the healing is here.
I have been touched by God’s love. I sit in the Circle with everyone and as I look into their eyes, I am held by a love that has no limitations. I drink the nectar of this sweet union of friends and I remember the Truth that only the heart can see. This love flows freely, all I need to do is receive it. I let it in, just like a flower opening to the sunlight, and I receive it fully. As I open my eyes to see the divine love of God, all its beauty is reflected back to me. In this moment, I know my inner world is in harmony with the love that heals all. My headache is gone and I am truly blessed because I chose to see the beauty of God’s love today

I am reborn in the eyes of your love for me.
You are here, waiting for me to turn my gaze away
From that which I think I am.
My resistance, my hesitation, my doubts,
Are all the false images I hold within as fears.
Let me face them, not as my enemy to attack or run and hide.
Let me trust in You, dear God,
And surrender to the touch of love’s embrace.
I reach for the light
That begins to shine within the darkened room of my mind.
I see it Now,
Giving me permission to rise up,
Allowing me to be here,
Choosing to be the connection
To that which desires expression.
I move away the coverings
As the doorway opens through my heart.
I rise up in celebration of this life given to me.
I see clearly that I Am You,
Here to give life to another.
Remembering that love is all there is,
We lift up together as ONE. |

Our children, all the children of this planet, our off spring, are the fruits of our creation. They bring forth the perfection of God’s expression. Can we see them for the Truth of who they are? They are the beauty of spirit evolved in form and giving life. Can we appreciate the gifts they give us daily? When we look into their eyes, can we remember the promise we gave to them? Let us each hold in our hearts and minds the promise to honor all life and to stop the battles within as we realize the peace that love offers us.
I dedicate this newsletter to my children Luke and Lane and Jodi’s children Sarah and Erin (pictured right). YOU inspire me daily. Our children trust us to remember to take magnificent care of ourselves so we can rise up with them into a world where peace is our constant companion. |
